## Services

- **Search & answer engine optimisation (SEO & AEO)** — We take a site on and
  improve both how it ranks and how reliably answer engines can quote it, driven
  by an audit tool we built: a deterministic parser establishes the facts about
  every page, then four independent AI models receive that same evidence and
  argue about priority. Three lenses: SEO, AEO, and accessibility & UX.
- **Putting AI to work** — Helping companies find where AI genuinely earns its
  place in how they operate, and where it does not. We start from existing
  workflows rather than a product demo, build the result into systems already in
  use, and design for verification: keep deterministic parts deterministic, make
  the model's contribution visible, and keep a person in the loop wherever a
  wrong answer is expensive. Includes preparing a company's own documents and
  data for model use, and running models on infrastructure the client controls
  when data cannot leave.
- **Websites & CMS migration** — Moving organisations off legacy content
  management systems onto lighter setups they control, often our own site
  builder, built on Equipe (our PHP/MySQL framework). Old URLs are mapped and
  redirected so ranking survives the move.
- **Custom software & automation** — Web applications built to specification:
  internal tools, structured databases with controlled access, back-office and
  workflow systems, public front ends over private data. Also the data side:
  custom pipelines between systems that were never meant to meet, reporting and
  analytics on the client's own definitions, and scheduled automation replacing
  recurring manual work.
- **Servers & infrastructure** — FreeBSD and Linux servers specified, built,
  hardened and maintained; fault-tolerant multi-server configurations; and
  Slurm-based parallel computing clusters for university research groups.
- **Hosting & email** — Application and website hosting, plus email, for clients
  whose systems we build or maintain. We do not offer general standalone hosting.

- Universities and research institutions — digital archives and humanities
  collections, and separately, scientific and research computing.
- Small and mid-sized businesses that depend on their systems but do not keep an
  in-house technology department.
